SPOTLIGHT: D&G Variante Abbinita Floral Tassel Clutches

Floral designs in the world of high fashion can be a bit hit-or-miss because when done right, the finished product is light, effervescent, and chic but when done wrong, it’s downright matronly and blah. I think we can all agree that the Variante Abbinita clutches by Dolce & Gabbana belong in the “chic” category because there’s nothing dowdy about these designs!

I must say that I prefer this design over the other one because the larger flowers make such a strong impact. Furthermore, the shade of sky blue used in the background couldn’t be more divine because not only does it pop in its own right, but it’s understated enough to work well in combination with other summer brights. The brown in the tassels was definitely a smart choice because the neutral hue immediately increases the versatility of this clutch tenfold. Not to mention, that shade of brown is the perfect complement to the vivid colors seen in the flowers.
